ResidenzaLAB is a collaborative artistic research station on dialogical practice.

One of the most topical questions of our time is: How can we connect people from different walks of life to open up a constructive dialogue and develop cooperative thinking? Through dialogue-based art projects, we bring people from different realities together and invite them to exchange thoughts and ideas. Dialogic art projects are based on listening and collaboration. It is the collective that creates these works as an experience. In order to look at things differently, we ask, for example: How can humans learn from the societies of plants?

We invent and document dialogue practices through dialogue-based art projects.

ResidenzaLAB is a mixture of research and publication! We invent dialogue practices and document them on an open-source platform and, after three meetings each September, in a book. The intention is to make effective and creative dialogue practices accessible and replicable. A further aim is to leave poetic traces of them in the region.

The first edition will take place in september 2025 on the italian adriatic coast. 

 

Artists from different disciplines (sound and video art, writing, drawing, programming, performance) who have a high interest in relational art and at least one experience in this direction will be invited to work for three years with interested people from the San Costanzo, Marotta-Mondolfo and Fano region.

 

Our initiative in this first year is under the patronage of the Italian Capital of Culture Pesaro 2024 with the theme La Natura della Cultura.
